BVY ATCT Roof and HVAC Unit Replacement
1. The two roof units for the control tower HVAC replacement are listed as one from Trane and one Carrier. Would it be possible to use the same manufacturer for both units?
On the Base building, it is important that the unit selected is compatible with the existing curb that will be re-used and that the supply and return on the unit are located in the same areas. Additionally, the unit selected should meet or exceed all other requirements stated in the mechanical schedule.
For the Cab, the unit selected should have the supply and return located in the same areas as the spec’d unit and should meet or exceed all other requirements stated in the mechanical schedule.
2. Will there be any area on site or close by for delivery and storage of HVAC equipment and contractor supplies?
Yes
3. Will a specification file be provided? All applicable files are located on SAM.gov
4. The solicitation states that the performance period is 30 days after receiving the notice to proceed, but the Statement of Work Section 8 states that the performance period is 60 days after receiving the notice to proceed. Which is correct? See Amendment Posted on SAM.gov
5. Will there be any area on site or close by for delivery and storage of HVAC equipment and contractor supplies? Yes
6. Section L.4 “Instructions for Preparation and Submission of Proposals” states in section a, the following:
(a) The Offeror must complete and submit two (2) “Organizational Experience Questionnaire” forms that include one project per form, SIR attachment J.3 Organizational Experience Questionnaire.
Is this the minimum number of questionnaires we should provide? Are we allowed to provide more than two (2), and if so, is there a maximum number we can provide? Two is the minimum. If you would like to provide more than two you can, but the limit is 4.
