2. QUESTION: Is there a walk thru?
GOV’T ANSWER: There is not a walk thru. (Answered December 4, 2023)
3. QUESTION: Regarding the pricing for this bid the bid schedule is very vague as to what exactly we are bidding on. For example will we be required to haul out and remove and snow from the property at any point?
GOV’ANSWER: Snow “Removal”:
Both snow clearing and removal is required. Onsite snow pile areas are available, but will need to be cleared as follows:
In the parking lot, snow is piled up until it restricts access then has to be hauled off (usually to our snow pile on the perimeter of the aircraft parking ramp).
The ramp snow is pushed into a pile along the perimeter, but once it restricts aircraft movement or is deemed to be a hazard it must be hauled offsite. (Answered January 4, 2024)
