Text version
Dual GENSET configuration procedure:
1) Remove the top cover of the enclosure.
2) Configure the LOAD IN junction block as seen in Figure 1 below.
Figure 1: LOAD IN Junction Block
3) Place both GENSETS in “AUTO”.
4) Plug in the left connector into the Main Control Unit (MCU).
5) GENSET1 will “START”.
Generator start/run timing/functionality is as follows:
1) The generator selection toggles on every start attempt (… to the next generator after the last start attempt).
2) The selected generator will try to start for 5 minutes.
3) If no current is detected (or the current is less than 1 AMP) after 5 minutes the next generator will try to start for 5 minutes.
4) If no current is detected (or the current is less than 1 AMP) after the second attempt, the MCU will wait 15 minutes before attempting to start a generator once again.
5) If more than 1 AMP of current is detected, the generator will continue to run until no current is detected.
6) If both generators are running (by accident or intentionally) the MCU will always select the primary generator for power and turn the secondary generator AUTO‐START output off.
