Paragraph “c”
2. Question: In order to provide pricing for CLINs 00003, 10003, 20003, 30003, 40003 and 50003 – Lane Keeping Support (LKS) test, which test procedure should be used?
Attachment J.2 Lane Departure Warning System Confirmation Test and Lane Keeping
Support Performance Documentation February 2013 OR J.12 Lane Keeping Support
System Confirmation Test (Working Draft) August 2021?
NHTSA Response: J.12 Lane Keeping Support System Confirmation Test (Working Draft)
August 2021
3. Question: Will a proposal for a sub-set of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) be considered for an award or are you requiring that all CLINs are offered?
For example, a proposal may only cover Crash Avoidance tests and not Headlight tests?
NHTSA Response: The Contractor should be prepared to perform all work (i.e., CLINs) stated in the RFP and should provide pricing for all CLINs listed in RFP.
4. Question: Will NTHSA generally be ordering multiple CLIN per vehicle within a Task
Order?
Understanding that the features available will depend on the vehicle make/model
NHTSA Response: Yes. Typically, a battery of tests will be ordered for anyone (1) vehicle model and such tests will be ordered for more than one (1) vehicle at a time.

5. Question: Regarding the CLINs for Re-Test, can you provide clarification on when these would be requested?
NHTSA Response: Re-Test CLINs would be rarely ordered, but would be requested in instances where the Government wanted or needed to learn more about a vehicle that failed a particular test or test scenario, or in instances where the Government wanted to tweak speed, deceleration, etc. for a particular test scenario for research purposes. These re-tests should not require vehicle prep, as the vehicle would have already been prepped for the standard
CLINs, which would have also been ordered and conducted.
6. Question: Is NTHSA intending to award the IDIQ contract to a single party or multiple parties?
NHTSA Response: Please review Section L.2 FAR 52,216-1 Type of Contract. The
Government contemplates multiple awards of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity
(IDIQ).
