About this file

This notice announces a research and technical support services procurement for four laboratories within the Federal Highway Administration's Office of Infrastructure Research & Development. Services sought include management and operation of the Structures Laboratory, Non-Destructive Evaluation Laboratory, Hydraulics Laboratory, and Geotechnical Laboratory to support research programs in structures, non-destructive evaluation, hydraulics, and geotechnics. The small business set-aside contract has an anticipated period of performance of 60 months and will be competitively awarded using best value source selection considering technical capabilities, past performance, and price factors. A pre-proposal conference will be held on February 13, 2019 and the final solicitation is expected to be available on or around February 15, 2019 with proposals due shortly thereafter. The procurement aims to support research addressing critical highway infrastructure needs and priorities of national importance across the design, materials, construction, operation, and preservation of pavements, bridges, culverts, tunnels and other structures.
