About this file
This document contains responses to questions from vendors regarding solicitation number 693JF721R000001 from the Department of Transportation Maritime Administration for a USMMA Student Information System. The government seeks proposals for a student information system and implementation services, with optional pricing for managed services. Proposal due dates were extended to January 19, 2021 with questions due by December 1, 2020. The government will consider separate contracts for software, implementation, and managed services if proposed. The solution must include basic financial aid and student billing capabilities. While FISMA/NIST compliance is preferred, vendors can propose alternative security compliance standards and work with the government post-award to address weaknesses. The government seeks a quality assurance plan for implementation and estimates 6 full users and 24 limited users of any proposed optional CRM software. Approximately 1,000 current student records require limited migration from the existing system.
