QUESTIONS REGARDING REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NUMBER 693C7319Q000045 - 10/7/19

1. Is this anticipated to be awarded quickly so that work can begin this fall or should we anticipate not getting started until next spring?

It is anticipated that work on Task 1 (Preparation of a RBC relocation plan) will begin this calendar year, and that some work related to this task would need to be completed next year.

2. Can you provide the 2006 MNF Revised Forest Plan for our review?

The 2006 Revised Forest Plan is available on the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service’s website: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/mnf/landmanagement/planning/?cid=FSM9_011361

3. Is there a scheduled date/time of year for when the culvert replacement will begin?

The schedule for the culvert replacement has not yet been determined.

4. Is there an estimate for how long the replacement will take, say longer than 6 months?

As stated in Attachment B (Biological Assessment) and Attachment C (Biological Opinion), the culvert replacement would take approximately 2 months.

5. Would it be possible to bring in potting soil onto national forest land?

Topsoil, including potting soil, cannot be brought into the National Forest (see Biological Assessment Non-native Invasive Species Plan).
