1 Is there a current incumbent performing this service? May we be provided the contract number or total contract award amount?
Yes, the incumbent is Unifirst CorporaƟon.
Contract number 6923G522P0054 in the amount of $206,000.00.
2 The pricing sheet lists an all inclusive price for shirts and trouser rental/launder for 8o personnel (11 sets per person) equaƟng to 880 shirts and 880 trousers. Can the government confirm this so CLIN 0001 can be given an all-inclusive price?
The quanƟƟes reflected (e.g., 880 shirts and 880 trousers based on eleven (11) sets for an esƟmated eighty (80) employees) are provided for pricing and evaluaƟon purposes only to allow offerors to develop an all-inclusive price.
Offerors shall propose an all-inclusive firm-fixed price for CLIN 0001 covering uniform rental and laundering services in accordance with the PWS.
The Government does not guarantee a minimum number of employees or garments. The esƟmated quanƟty of eighty (80) employees is provided solely for pricing and evaluaƟon purposes. The Contractor shall invoice the Government only for the number of employees acƟvely uƟlizing uniforms during the applicable billing period, in accordance with the PWS.
3 Who is the current contractor and what is the contract number?
The incumbent is Unifirst CorporaƟon. Contract number 6923G522P0054.
4 Should offerors submit pricing based solely on a fixed annual uniform rental and laundering program for the esƟmated 80 employees (inclusive of normal wear, repairs, and standard replacement), with any customer-responsible loss or damage handled separately in accordance with the PWS?
Or, does the Government expect offerors to include an es mated allowance for loss/damage within the annual price reflected on the Schedule of Supplies/Services pricing sheet?
Offerors shall submit pricing based on a firm-fixed annual uniform rental and laundering program for the esƟmated eighty (80) employees, inclusive of uniform rental, laundering, normal wear and tear repairs, and standard replacement, as required by the PWS.
The Government does not expect offerors to include an esƟmated allowance for customer-responsible loss or damage within the annual uniform rental price. An addiƟonal Not-To- Exceed (NTE) line item has been included in the pricing sheet for each performance period to address loss or damage outside of normal wear and tear aƩributable to GLS. Loss or damage shall be billed only as incurred and in accordance with the PWS and the unit pricing established in the contract.
Offerors shall otherwise provide an all-inclusive price for the uniform rental and laundering program. In addiƟon, offerors shall submit a separate price composiƟon worksheet that breaks down the weekly per-employee price by garment type (e.g., shirts, trousers, laundering, repairs) in accordance with the PWS.

5 Category 2 FR apparel is typically engineered, cerƟfied, and commercially stocked in long-sleeve configuraƟons, as sleeves provide enhanced arc-flash protecƟon and align with prevailing safety and compliance standards. Short-sleeve FR opƟons are limited and, in many cases, do not meet the same protecƟve intent.
Given this, will the end user accept standard short-sleeve work shirts in lieu of FR short-sleeve garments?
Yes, the Government will accept non-FR short sleeve garments only. See updated PWS for clarificaƟon.

9 Are uniform that are loss, theŌ, or excessive damage considered part of normal replacement, or will these be handled as billable items and are repairs (patching, seams, buƩons) expected to be unlimited within the weekly service price?
