2 Will a site visit be scheduled? No, the Government does not intend on holding a site visit.

3 What was the award amount of the last contract and how many years was that for?

This is a brand‐new requirement.

4 We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.

If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

This is a brand‐new requirement.

5 What is the total contract value including all option years?

This is a brand‐new requirement. Offerors shall submit a fair and reasonable price in accordance with their technical approach.

6 Are there any floor plans available or breakdown of flooring types between carpet, tile, concrete, etc…

7 Is there a bathroom fixture count available, toilets, urinals, sinks, dispensers?

Toilets: 11 Urinals: 3 Sinks: 8 Soap dispensers: 8

8 Has the scope of work changed at all from the last time this effort was competed?

This is a brand‐new requirement.

9 Please provide clarification for peak and non peak season as Memorial day does not always fall on May 31st. How would those days in between be treated? As Peak or non‐Peak season?

Peak hours will begin on the day designated as Memorial Day holiday each year. Non‐peak hours will be used until that day.

10 Can you please provide the bid list for the last time this was out for bid?

This is a brand‐new requirement.

11 Is there any type of bid bond or Surety required? (it was not clear to me on the documents so if you could clarify I would appreciate it)

No.

12 Is there a local vendor preference?

No, the determination of a technical approach is at the discretion of each offeror.

13 Is there a mandatory pre bid conference?

No.

14 Will award be based on best overall value using a scoring system with price

Proposals will be evaluated using Best Value.

16 Is there a min. amount of janitors that would be needed there at one time? Or is it only based on what we believe will be needed to complete all tasks daily?

Offerors shall submit their best technical approach to meet the specifications within the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The determination of technical approach is at the discretion of each offeror. Offerors have the flexibility to propose their own solutions based on their expertise and their understanding of the requirements. Offerors are encouraged to submit a response in accordance with their technical approach.

17 Are quotes due the 27th or only questions? On one of the documents it does say quotations are needed by the 27th.

Quotations are due 03/05/2024 at 2:00PM EST.

18 Please provide information on

19 Please provide information on

20 How many people are required per day there? I know being a 7 day a week we’re going to need 3‐4 people for rotating shifts but is there a minimum we’ll need?

Offerors shall submit their best technical approach to meet the specifications within the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The determination of technical approach is at the discretion of each offeror. Offerors have the flexibility to propose their own solutions based on their expertise and their understanding of the requirements. Offerors are encouraged to submit a response in accordance with their technical approach.

The Contractor is required to provide employees for the hours stated within the PWS:

21 For the price list, is the hourly price for one person?

Offerors shall include their fully burdened labor rates and the total number of hours for their proposed staffing solutions. All proposed staffing solutions shall be included in the corresponding CLIN.

22 And are the hours for 12 months for one employee or the amount of total employees as we think are needed?

23 is the program manager needed daily and same amount of time as the 7am‐ 1pm

24 Should the carpet cleaning/floor stripping and waxing figured into the hourly wage or should we add it into ODC’s? And is there a way we can get sqf of each in the building?

This can be added to ODCs.

25 Are we responsible for all supplies?

Including trash bags, cleaning product, toilet paper?

The Contractor is responsible for all cleaning supplies/products (except specific exhibit cleaning products), floor cleaning/polishing machine appropriate for maintaining polished concrete and appropriate carpet cleaning equipment, and indoor/outdoor window cleaning supplies. The Government will supply trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and specific exhibit cleaning products
