About this file

This is Standard Form 30, Amendment 0002 to Solicitation 6923G226Q000034, issued by the Maritime Administration (USMMA Procurement) located in Kings Point, New York. The amendment extends the solicitation closing date to September 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST and provides an updated Questions and Answers list as of September 8, 2026, along with Attachment C containing ACM Lead Reports.

The solicitation concerns Patten Hall Renovation Project, which involves interior renovations, abatement, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) upgrades rather than roofing work (roof repairs have been removed from requirements). Key technical specifications include textile composite floor tiles sized 24"x24" with face weight between 12-22 oz per square yard; fully welded steel cabinets of 14-to-16-gauge steel with full extension drawer slides rated for 200+ pounds weight capacity; and a backup generator and automatic transfer switch sized based on electrical requirements of specified areas. The Davis-Bacon wage determination applicable is NY20260012 for Suffolk/Nassau County. The project has a 365-day performance period during normal business hours (0700 to 1630), with Patten Clinic remaining operational during renovation work. Contractors must quote labor and materials for four individual plumbing repairs (estimated at fifteen feet per repair), and the Government will provide removal and return of medical equipment, furniture, sensitive records, and other materials. Site visits are no longer available, and drawings are provided in Attachments A, B, and D.

Q& A Updated Solicitation 6923G226R000005

8-Sep-26 Patten Hall Renovations

Question 1 Section L (Site Visit) instructs bidders to use the email subject line "Roof

Replacement of DPW Buildings". Shortly after, under "General Instructions," the text instructs bidders to use the subject line

"Patten Hall Renovation Project". Please clarify which subject line is required for official correspondence.

Answer 1 Any reference to roof repairs is in error. Roof repairs, whether referencing Patten

Hall or the DPW buildings, are removed from the requirement. The subject line for emails shall include "Solicitation 6923G226Q000034" and

"Patten Hall Renovation Project".

Question 2 Section L (Quotation Preparation) mandates that past performance examples must include a description of the "roof type," and

Section D mentions shipping products to the job site for "roofing purposes". Since the Section

C Statement of Work involves interior renovations, abatement, and MEP upgrades rather than roofing, please confirm bidders should submit relevant interior/MEP experience instead of roofing experience.

Answer 2 Roof repairs are removed from the requirement as stated in Question and Answer 1.

The relevant technical experience (past
