SOLICITATION 6923G226Q000034 AMENDMENT 0001

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS as of 4 SEPTEMBER 2026

Q& A Updated Solicitation 6923G226R000005 4-Sep-26 Patten Hall Renovations

Question 1

Section L (Site Visit) instructs bidders to use the email subject line "Roof Replacement of DPW Buildings". Shortly after, under "General Instructions," the text instructs bidders to use the subject line "Patten Hall Renovation Project". Please clarify which subject line is required for official correspondence.

Answer 1

Any reference to roof repairs is in error. Roof repairs, whether referencing Patten Hall or the DPW buildings, are removed from the requirement. The subject line for emails shall include "Solicitation 6923G226Q000034" and "Patten Hall Renovation Project".

Question 2

Section L (Quotation Preparation) mandates that past performance examples must include a description of the "roof type," and Section D mentions shipping products to the job site for "roofing purposes". Since the Section C Statement of Work involves interior renovations, abatement, and MEP upgrades rather than roofing, please confirm bidders should submit relevant interior/MEP experience instead of roofing experience.

Answer 2 Roof repairs are removed from the requirement as stated in Question and Answer 1. The relevent technical experience (past contract examples) shall be similar in size, scope, and magnitude of that stated in Section C.

Question 3 The specific Davis-Bacon General Wage Decision for Nassau County is not attached to the solicitation. Please provide the applicable wage determination so accurate labor burdens can be calculated.

Answer 3

The primary Davis-Bacon General Wage Decision (WD) for Nassau County, New York, is NY20260012. Pull the latest WD for NY20260012 from SAM.gov by going to the SAM.gov Home Page, click on the Wage Determinations link, insert NY20260012 in the Wage Determination search line, and download the WD NY20260012 for Suffolk/Nassau.
