# General Technical Question Answer Date

1 X

If we are milling and paving back the 2” of existing driving surface, what is the DOT looking for in the staking other then marking the center line.

Meet the requirements of Section 152. 11/25/19

2 X

The spec says we need to strip back the lines daily to maintain a clear centerline. Normally, we would give temp. delineator tabs in the road till the striping work was completed.

Temporary signs and vehicle positioning guides may be substituted for temporary pavement markings according to Subsection 635.13A. Also see Subsection 635.24 for measurement.
