About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent (NOI) issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division for the Department of Public Safety, specifically for solicitation number 65DPS-S3413 titled "Statewide Uniforms - Department of Public Safety". The NOI indicates the state's intent to award a contract to Streicher's Inc. for uniform procurement, with proposal submissions due by 08/18/2025 and an anticipated contract start date of 01/01/2026. The contract is expected to have a four-year term, subject to Board of Examiners approval, and will cover comprehensive uniform services for approximately 245 sworn officers, including tailoring, fitting, altering, and repairing law enforcement uniforms.
The procurement requires the vendor to provide a web-based ordering system, maintain an inventory equal to one-third of total approved sworn positions, and supply diverse uniform items that can withstand Nevada's extreme temperature variations. Vendor eligibility requires registration on nevadaepro.com, a valid Nevada business license, and sam.gov registration. The contract mandates stringent insurance coverage, including $2,000,000 in Commercial General Liability, and includes comprehensive federal compliance requirements for equal employment, minority business enterprise, and non-discrimination policies. While specific award values are not disclosed, the pricing structure suggests potential for significant volume with two-tier pricing for orders under and over 300 items.
