About this file

This document is a question and answer sheet related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation (NPP) for a six-month workload/time study of Pre-Sentence Investigation (PSI) Specialist IV positions. The study is intended to gather information to build the personnel budget for the year. The RFP specifies that the study final report is the only deliverable, and payment will be made upon delivery of the report. The RFP also clarifies that a credit/procurement card is not required for payment, and that paper copies in addition to electronic copies are needed for the technical and cost proposals.

Regarding pricing, the RFP states that the cost proposal is already broken down by the single deliverable, the final report. The document does not mention any set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or other salient pricing information.

Questions for RFP - NPP 07022021 Pre-Sentence Investigation IV Workload Study
VendorQuestionAnswer
Evident ChangeOn page 10 of the RFP, Section 6 FINANCIAL, we have a question about the budget. Can the budget be broken down into deliverables and payment be made upon completion of each deliverable? The study final report is the only deliverable, thus payment will need to be invoiced when report is delivered.
Evident ChangeOn page 11, Section 6.2 Billing, 6.2.3 mentions that some agencies may use a Procurement Card Program to pay for some of their purchases. Is payment by credit card/Procurement Card required?A credit/Procurement Card is not required and will not be used for the payment of the report.
Evident ChangeOn page 14, Section 9.2 PART IA – TECHNICAL PROPOSAL, 9.2.1.1. and 9.2.1.2., the RFP states that only PDF copies are needed and should be submitted on one CD or flash drive. However, 9.1.2.1. states One (1) original marked “MASTER”; and 9.2.1.2. states that Six (6) identical copies should be included. Does this refer to paper copies?Yes, 9.1.2.1 and 9.2.1.2 refer to paper copies.
Evident ChangeRegarding page 16, Part II – COST PROPOSAL, can the cost proposal be broken down by deliverables? The study final report is the only deliverable, thus the cost proposal is already broken down by deliverables.
Evident ChangeOn pages 19–20, 9.7.6. – 9.7.9 again seem to refer to paper copies packaged separately from the CD or Flash Drive. Are paper copies needed?Yes, paper copies are needed.
