About this file
This is a Compensation Sheet attachment for Bid #6527 issued by the County of Ventura's GSA/Procurement Services for Metal Recycling Services. The County seeks qualified vendors to provide pickup, processing, and recycling of scrap metal generated at County facilities with documented weights and revenue sharing arrangements. Bids must be submitted online at https://ventura.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=login no later than Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The deadline for questions or clarifications is Wednesday, June 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible respondent offering the highest price per pound, percentage, or highest revenue return to the County. Inquiries should be directed to Richard Ramirez, Buyer, through the bid portal's Message tab.
Bidders must complete all required fields on the Compensation Sheet and may submit pricing in either percentage format or per-pound format, with the County determining the final compensation basis prior to award. Pricing shall be based on current market value of metals determined by the published American Metal Market (AMM) index in effect at the time of pickup. Ferrous and non-ferrous scrap are the standard categories for compensation calculation. Critically, no fees may be charged to the County under this RFB, and any bid including a fee will be deemed non-responsive. Bidders must provide complete contractor information including Federal ID, DUNS number, license number, company contact details, and authorized signature with date on the submission form.
