About this file

This is a vendor onboarding notice from Marion County, Florida, regarding the PaymentWorks registration system for vendors conducting business with the county. The notice serves as notification that Marion County uses PaymentWorks, a secure vendor portal, to onboard vendors and manage payments, and vendors may receive invitation emails from PaymentWorks on the county's behalf. The document applies to the Belleview Sportsplex Soccer Field Restoration project (26B-089), which involves contractor services for soccer field restoration including removal and replacement of existing field surface, placement of clean fill, full-field laser grading, and installation of Bermuda grass sod. Pricing for this project is requested on a per-field basis.

PaymentWorks allows vendors to securely provide and manage business and banking information, reduce errors and duplicate records, and update information at any time. During registration, vendors can select payment methods including ACH (direct deposit), which is faster and more secure, or check payment if preferred. Existing vendors who have previously done business with Marion County are not required to register to continue business; however, any updates to company information such as address, email, or banking details must be completed through PaymentWorks. The county notes that delays in registration or updates may result in payment delays.
