About this file
This Invitation for Bid (IFB) document issued by Granite School District's Purchasing Department on behalf of the Bates Central Kitchen/Child Nutrition Department seeks competitive pricing from qualified vendors to supply foodservice nitrile gloves. The District does not guarantee specific volumes, and estimated quantities and service needs may vary throughout the school year. Deliveries must be scheduled in advance with Nutrition Services at 385-646-9277 and directed to the GSD Bates Central Kitchen/Child Nutrition Warehouse located at 4161 West 2200 South, West Valley City, Utah. The contract will commence upon award and continue for an initial one-year term, with Granite School District retaining the option to renew annually for up to four additional years, contingent upon vendor agreement and satisfactory performance. Bids must be submitted by the posted deadline through the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) platform, and the award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all specified requirements.
Pricing shall be firm for the initial one-year contract period and must include all delivery charges on an FOB Destination basis with no additional surcharges. For approved contract renewals, vendors may request price adjustments with at least thirty days' advance notice, supported by verifiable documentation such as Producer Price Index data or supplier invoices; any cost decreases must be passed to the District. All shipments must be accompanied by packing slips and delivery receipts including purchase order numbers, with products bearing expiration dates where applicable. The District reserves the right to inspect facilities and all deliveries, rejecting items that are damaged, contaminated, improperly packaged, or expired. Vendors must comply with all applicable federal procurement requirements under 2 CFR Parts 200.318-326, maintain proper Utah business licensing, and adhere to anti-discrimination laws. Upon award, vendors must maintain sufficient product stock to ensure prompt delivery and provide usage reports upon request within ten business days. The contract is supported by federal funds and is non-exclusive, allowing GSD to source products outside this agreement.
