About this file

The document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the City of Fort Worth Purchasing Division, specifically referencing ITB Ref. #: 25-0209 for Moving & Disposal of Gaming Machines for the Fort Worth Police Department. The solicitation seeks a vendor to provide services for relocating and disposing of seized gaming machines, with the Police Department anticipating approximately 160 to 180 gaming machines will need to be seized and disposed of annually. The services are required on an "as-needed" basis and include two primary components: moving seized gaming machines from offense locations to police storage, and subsequently transporting and disposing of the machines.

The bid requirements are structured in three "baskets" within Bid Table BT-05CK, allowing vendors to bid on moving services, disposal services, or both. Vendors must have proper permitting, licenses, and authorization for transporting and disposing of metal components and associated hazardous materials. Key compliance requirements include maintaining chain-of-custody documentation, providing quarterly environmental disposal documentation, and submitting an annual environmental compliance report. The vendor must ensure complete destruction of machines without refurbishing or reselling parts, with recycling and scrap material sales permitted. The contract will require the vendor to provide labor and equipment at a fixed rate per seized gaming machine, with an allowable fuel surcharge.
