About this file

This is an award memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services for a Buccal Swab Collection Kits Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted by the Department of Public Safety. The procurement resulted in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. The contract term is five years, with vendors required to guarantee pricing for a minimum of one year. Award notifications have been issued to the intended awardee, and the winning vendor's identity can be found in accompanying award documentation available on the public purchasing website.

The awarded vendor must not commence work, purchase materials, or execute subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services have executed a formal contract or purchase order. Receipt of the award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only an executed purchase order or signed contract creates enforceable obligations. Vendors have seven days from the issuance of this notice to submit any written protests of the award decision to the Procurement Officer. All responsive vendors will be contacted regarding next steps in the contracting process.
