About this file

This is an Award Memo from the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services regarding a contract award for Sagebrush Restoration Handplanting services through the Division of Wildlife Resources. The solicitation was issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with the intent to award a single contract to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. The contract term is one (1) year, with the vendor required to guarantee pricing for the full contract period. Award notifications have been issued to selected vendors, and the awarded vendor(s) are identified in accompanying award documentation available on the public purchasing website. Vendors are prohibited from beginning work, purchasing materials, or entering into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services have executed a formal contract or Purchase Order (PO).

Responses were evaluated according to criteria stated in the original solicitation. Receipt of the award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only execution of a PO or signed contract between the awarded vendor and the Division of Purchasing and General Services creates a contractual relationship. Awarded vendors will be contacted via phone or email regarding next steps in the contracting process. The memo notifies all responding vendors that any protests of the award decision must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer within seven days of this notice, with the protest clearly identifying the solicitation and detailing the nature of the objection.
