About this file
This is an Award Memo from the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services announcing the intent to award a contract for Sagebrush Restoration Handplanting services through the Department of Wildlife Resources. The solicitation was issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with the purpose of securing a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. The contract term is one year, and the selected vendor must guarantee pricing for the full contract duration. Vendors were evaluated according to criteria specified in the solicitation documentation, and the intended awardee is identified in accompanying award documentation available on the public purchasing website.
The Award Memo establishes critical procedural requirements and timelines for contract execution. The awarded vendor must not commence work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute the contract or issue a purchase order. Receipt of the award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only an executed PO or signed contract creates contractual obligations. Vendors have seven days from the issuance of this notice to submit any written protests, which must clearly identify the solicitation and detail the nature of the protest. Vendors will be contacted via phone or email regarding next steps in the contracting process.
