About this file
This is a Proposal Introduction and Solution Approach attachment document issued by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the City of Detroit Police Department and the Department of Innovation and Technology for a mobile CCTV trailer system project. The document establishes the required components that qualified respondents must include in their proposal submissions, including a statement confirming the proposal is submitted in response to the RFP, confirmation that the proposal will remain firm for one hundred twenty days from the due date and thereafter until withdrawal, contract execution, or procurement termination, whichever occurs first. Respondents must provide a brief company description, commitment to perform work according to RFP requirements, evidence of required licenses or registrations, a solution and approach to meeting the stated requirements from Section 2 (Statement of Work), a preliminary project schedule with completion dates, and a technical approach describing procedures to be followed in a format that enables the City to evaluate the firm's ability to identify, evaluate, and communicate while providing the requested services.
The document does not contain specific information regarding pricing terms, contract value, funding sources, set-asides, incumbent contractors, response deadlines, award dates, or contract term details. These elements would typically be found in other sections of the complete RFP documentation, such as the Statement of Work, General Conditions, or Evaluation Criteria sections.
