About this file
This is a Sexual Harassment Training Policy Statement exhibit from Erie County Medical Center Corporation (ECMCC) in New York, establishing mandatory compliance requirements for bidders responding to the Outside Legal/Attorney Services contract opportunity. The exhibit requires all bidders to certify under penalty of perjury that they have implemented a written sexual harassment prevention policy meeting the requirements of New York Labor Law Section 201-g and that they provide annual sexual harassment prevention training to all employees. Bidders must have their authorized representative sign and date the certification form, affirming compliance with these requirements as a condition of bid submission.
The document serves as a compliance verification mechanism rather than a pricing or service delivery document. All bidders, regardless of the legal service area for which they are applying—whether general civil liability defense, insurance coverage matters, or labor and employee claims—must complete and submit this certification. The statement carries significant legal weight, as false statements made in the written instrument constitute a Class A misdemeanor under New York Penal Law Section 210.45, emphasizing the seriousness of the certification requirement and ECMCC's commitment to workplace sexual harassment prevention standards.
