About this file

This is a pricing submittal form for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Mobile Crane Operator, Digger Derrick, Service Truck Crane, Boom Truck Operator, Signalperson, Rigger, and Overhead Crane Training, Testing, and Certification services. The solicitation anticipates a single provider award and is issued in accordance with the Utah Procurement Code and applicable administrative rules. The form requires bidders to provide all-inclusive pricing for training courses that encompasses all expenses, profit, and certification fees across multiple specializations, including Mobile Crane with one specialty, Mobile Crane with two specialties, Rigger Level 1, and Signal Person certifications.

Pricing evaluation will be based on the lowest sum total cost per contact hour plus travel costs to training locations. For evaluation purposes, UDOT will use an average of 12 students per county as the baseline. Bidders must identify the counties in which they can provide training and provide cost per student for each course type. Additional costs of $130 per student per day for hotel and perdiem will be added to the total cost for students who must travel outside their county to arrive at the final sum total cost for award determination.
