About this file

This is an Amendment 1 document responding to vendor questions regarding a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Idaho Department of Corrections (IDOC) for outdoor exercise stands for corrections facilities under Bid #26-426 (DOC-DIXON-B-50618). The RFQ seeks four outdoor exercise stands of the same model for Dixon Correctional Center. The amendment clarifies that the two machine examples provided in the attachment are for reference only, and vendors may submit bids for either model as long as the submitted item matches the description and specifications listed in BidBuy. All four stands in a single bid submission must be identical. The bid opening date has been extended to January 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

The amendment does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other financial requirements related to this procurement.

DOC-DIX CC- Outdoor Exercise Stands for Corrections Bid #26-426DOC-DIXON-B-50618 Amendment #1 Response to Vendor’s Questions to Request for Quote (RFQ)

Below is the response to the questions that IDOC has received regarding the above RFQ:

1. Vendor: Could you kindly confirm if both machines listed in the attachment are required, or if only one of them is needed?

Answer: The photo included in BidBuy as attachment to B-50618 shows two different examples of corrections exercise stands. The submitted bid does not have to be for one or the other, these are general examples. The item submitted on the vendor’s bid should match the description of the item in BidBuy and specifications must be submitted with the vendor’s quote. All four of the stands on the bid should be the same model.

2. The bid opening date is being extended to January 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
