About this file

This document is a Request for Bids (RFB) issued by Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement on behalf of the Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation Division for Bulk, Liquid Fertilizer, and Soil Remediation Products for Salt Lake County Golf Courses. The solicitation was released on 26 March 2018, with bid opening on 3/6/2018 at 4:00 PM MST and closing on 3/20/2018 at 2:00 PM MST. The contract will have a five-year term, with the county reserving the right to review and negotiate pricing periodically. Three vendors were awarded: Rentokil North America, G2 Green Distributing LLC, and Murdock Turf Products LLC.

The pricing structure allows for a percentage discount off the suppliers' published price lists, with suppliers required to submit their current catalog pricing. Prices must remain firm for the initial two-year term, with potential price escalation of up to 3.0% thereafter, subject to county approval. The county estimates an approximate annual purchase amount of $50,000, though no minimum or maximum purchase quantities are guaranteed. The contract is non-exclusive, meaning Salt Lake County can purchase similar products from other sources during the contract term. Suppliers must provide a warranty covering parts and labor for at least one year and agree to make records available for periodic audits and price checks.
