About this file
The document is a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Program Management Local Agency Program (LAP) Certification of Current Capacity form, designed for FDOT pre-qualified contractors bidding on transportation projects. The two-page form requires contractors to certify their current contract capacity by detailing total uncompleted work and ensuring that proposed bid amounts do not exceed their maximum capacity rating. The form provides specific instructions for preparing the certification, including how to account for contract timing relative to the letting date and inclusion of newly awarded contracts.
The form includes a blank "Status of Contracts on Hand" table where contractors must comprehensively list all ongoing and awarded projects, including owner details, contract amounts, subcontracted amounts, and uncompleted work portions. Contractors are instructed to list both prime and subcontracts, with provisions to consolidate smaller contracts that individually do not exceed 3% of the total and collectively represent less than 20% of the total contract value. The document is marked as confidential under Florida Statute 337.14(1) and requires the contractor to swear to the accuracy of the information provided, including the signature and title of an authorized representative.
