About this file

This Sources Sought Notice (Solicitation Number 50310225Q0068) is for a private market data subscription sought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a data subscription product with a web-based research platform, specifically seeking Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solutions that meet their draft requirements. Interested vendors must submit responses by 3:00 PM EDT on June 30, 2025, including a summary/cover letter, product description, sample report and data, and price estimates with separately priced line items for data subscription (enterprise level) and web platform with user tiers for 10-20 users.

The SEC's key requirements include a preference for csv/Excel data format, robust privacy safeguards that do not monitor or save user queries, and concurrent access licensing if available at a reasonable price. Vendors are asked to provide company information such as SAM UEI number, business size, socio-economic classifications, Cage Code, DUNS, and available contract vehicles. The agency emphasizes this is a market research exercise and not a formal solicitation, with no commitment to award a contract. Responses are voluntary, and all submissions become government property, with proprietary information to be clearly marked and handled accordingly.
