About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a renewable contract to provide pest control services around the buildings and animal holding areas at the New Iberia Research Center, located on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in New Iberia, Louisiana. The RFP requires the contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and project oversight for the control of rodents and small animals. The initial contract period is from award through June 30, 2025, with the option to renew for up to four additional 12-month periods. The contractor must service approximately 490 bait stations across 100 acres, meet security and medical screening requirements, and conduct on-site work under escort. The contractor must also provide special extermination, removal, and trapping services for large rodents and small animals. The bid submission deadline is Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM CST.
The RFP requires the bidder to submit a list of at least five (5) commercial accounts serviced in the last twelve (12) months, Certificates of Insurance, Workmen's Compensation and Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance, and a current copy of a License issued by the Structural Pest Control Commission, State of Louisiana, to engage in the business of eradication of household insects and rodent control and bird control and small animal control. The addendum removes the requirement for the list of commercial accounts to be in the Lafayette metropolitan area.
