About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) for a modern receiving and logistics software solution to replace its current system. The RFP seeks a comprehensive software platform that will streamline package intake, tracking, and distribution across all SLCC campuses, with specific requirements including barcode scanning, real-time inventory management, distribution routing, surplus management, and integration capabilities with existing enterprise systems like Ellucian Banner and Jaggaer. The contract is anticipated to have an initial three-year term with potential for two additional one-year renewals, contingent upon the College's satisfaction with the vendor's performance.

The RFP details eleven evaluation sections weighted from 5-10 points each, covering areas such as receiving and intake, inventory management, distribution, surplus management, user communication, system integration, reporting, user experience, support and training, implementation timeline, and additional features. The cost proposal must include line-item details for all available modules, clearly distinguishing between one-time and annual ongoing costs, and indicating which modules and services are required versus optional. The procurement will result in a single contract award to the most responsive and responsible vendor with the highest scored proposal, with compatibility requirements including Azure SSO authentication, integration with current hardware like Zebra TC51 scanners, and mobile/tablet accessibility.
