About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFP 26-032 issued by the Bibb County School District in Georgia regarding home-based mental health services to be provided via telehealth. The RFP seeks qualified vendors to deliver mental health services to students within the district. The initial contract term runs from March 15, 2026 through June 30, 2026, with subsequent annual renewal periods running from July 1 through June 30. The contract includes options for four renewals following the initial term, establishing a potential five-year service period. For planning purposes, the district estimates that approximately 150 students may require services during the contract period, though this figure is presented as an estimate only and does not constitute a minimum or guaranteed volume of referrals.

The document does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding amounts, or other financial requirements. The district acknowledges that student mental health needs are variable and evolving in nature, and therefore cannot provide precise guarantees regarding the number of students requiring services. Interested vendors should base their capacity planning and cost proposals on the provided estimate while remaining flexible to accommodate actual service demands that may differ from this projection.

Q & A

RFP 26-032

Home Base Mental Health Services

1. Can you please confirm the term of the contract? The contract term listed in the RFP states that it is 3/15/26-6/30/26 but also states that the term of the contract shall be for one year with the option of four renewals. The initial contract will be from March – June. We will renew from July 1st – June 30, 2027.

2. Can the district provide guidance on the estimated number of students to be served so that applicants can determine whether they can provide full program coverage? Due to the variable and evolving nature of student mental health needs, BCSD cannot guarantee or precisely estimate the number of students who may require services. However, for planning purposes only, the District does not anticipate that more than approximately 150 students will require services during the referenced period. This figure is an estimate provided solely to assist applicants in determining capacity and does not represent a minimum or guaranteed volume of referrals.
