About this file
This is a vendor onboarding notice from Marion County, Florida, regarding registration requirements for the PaymentWorks vendor portal system. Marion County uses PaymentWorks as its official secure vendor onboarding and payment management platform. The notice indicates that vendors may receive invitation emails from PaymentWorks on behalf of Marion County and assures them this is a legitimate request. While existing vendors who have previously conducted business with Marion County are not required to register to continue operations, all vendors must complete registration or updates to company information—including address, email, and banking details—through the PaymentWorks system. Registration is strongly encouraged to avoid payment delays.
The PaymentWorks portal allows vendors to securely provide and manage business and banking information, reduce errors and duplicate records, and update information at any time. During registration, vendors can select their preferred payment method, either ACH (direct deposit), which is faster and more secure, or check payment. Support for PaymentWorks registration and technical questions is available through the PaymentWorks help portal at https://help.paymentworks.com/contactsupport, and Marion County procurement inquiries can be directed to Procurement@MarionFL.org. This onboarding requirement applies to vendors pursuing the related contract opportunity for Debris Management Operations (Phase 4 Recovery) Debris Monitoring & Consulting Services, a five-year term contract with three optional one-year renewals.
