About this file

This is a master contract template and invitation for bid issued by Snow College, a public institution in Utah, for the procurement of a new touring motorcoach style bus with a capacity of 56-58 passengers and a model year of 2025 or newer. The contract document establishes the framework for the relationship between Snow College and the selected contractor, defining the general obligations, responsibilities, and conditions that will govern the service delivery. The specific project scope, detailed specifications, and timeline requirements are contained in supporting bid documents that accompany this template. Snow College will assign a project manager to serve as the primary contact and coordinate project execution with the contractor. The contract period, beginning and termination dates, and any renewal options will be specified in the final executed agreement following bid award. Time is expressly identified as being of the essence in contract performance.

The invitation for bid specifies that evaluation of all submissions will be conducted in accordance with the Utah Procurement Code and that bids must demonstrate responsiveness and compliance with the identified specifications. Snow College will accept only one primary bid per vendor and will not consider multiple or alternate quotes; any vendor submitting multiple bids will have all but the primary bid rejected. The procurement unit notes that no additional charges will be permitted after bid award, establishing a firm, fixed-price contracting approach. Snow College reserves the right to solicit additional quotes through alternative methods as permitted under Utah law. The contract will incorporate standard terms and conditions as outlined in the attached Exhibit A, with any special conditions taking precedence in case of conflicts with other contract documents.
