About this file

This is a General Information Requirements and Terms and Conditions document for Snow College's Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure a new touring motorcoach style bus with 56-58 passenger capacity, model year 2025 or newer. The document establishes procurement guidelines and contractual obligations for qualified suppliers responding to this solicitation. Snow College's Purchasing Department serves as the sole official source of information during the bid process, and all significant changes will be communicated through formal written addenda. The college requires that suppliers explicitly disclose any proposed subcontractors in their bid response, including the subcontractor's name, address, and scope of work, and approval from the College Purchasing Department is mandatory before any subcontracts can be awarded. The document does not specify explicit response or award dates, site visit requirements, or bidder conference details within the provided content.

All pricing submitted must be final and complete, as no additional charges will be allowed after bid award. Suppliers proposing to use subcontractors or require advance payments must provide performance and payment bonds, with bond pricing included in the total bid price and considered the supplier's responsibility. Suppliers must maintain Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum per occurrence limits of $1,000,000 and general aggregate limits of $2,000,000, Business Automobile Liability insurance, and if applicable, Professional Liability insurance with minimum limits of $2,000,000 per occurrence. Snow College must be named as an additional insured on the CGL policy, and suppliers must submit certificates of insurance prior to contract commencement with thirty days' written notice of any coverage cancellations or material changes. The contract will be governed by Utah state law, and disputes will be resolved in a Utah court of competent jurisdiction selected by Snow College. Only one primary bid per vendor will be accepted; multiple or alternate quotes will not be considered.
