About this file

This is a Lobbyist Registration Requirement Certification form for a competitive solicitation issued by Broward County, Florida, specifically for the Replacement of Air Handler Units on the rooftop of Terminal 3 at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The form is required to be submitted with the solicitation response, but must be completed within three business days after the County's request. Vendors must certify their compliance with Broward County Lobbyist Registration Act requirements (Sections 1-260 through 1-262, Broward County Code of Ordinances) regarding any retained lobbyists. The scope of work involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals for the replacement of 22 rooftop HVAC air handler units. Vendor submittal must occur electronically through BPRO with receipt confirmation by the closing date and time, with questions due by a specified deadline.

Vendors deemed nonresponsive for failure to comply with certification requirements within stated timeframes may be rejected from consideration. The form requires vendors to select one of two options: either certifying that no lobbyists have been retained for this solicitation (with notification required if retained after submission), or certifying that all retained lobbyists have timely filed required registrations. If a retained lobbyist is claimed, complete identification information including name, firm, phone, and email must be listed. The County reserves the right to terminate any awarded contract for convenience if post-award investigation determines the certification was willfully or intentionally erroneous. County and State license requirements, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements, and bonding requirements apply to this solicitation. The form date is September 9, 2024.
