About this file
This is an Insurance Requirements document for the Temporary Kitchen Personnel contract with the Broward Addiction Recovery Center (BARC), a Broward County, Florida agency. The document specifies mandatory insurance coverage that vendors must maintain throughout the contract period. The required insurance includes Commercial General Liability with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, covering premises operations, explosion/collapse/underground hazards, products/completed operations, and contractual liability. Additional requirements include Auto Liability with $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage limits (waivable if no driving is involved), Workers Compensation at statutory limits, and Employers Liability of $500,000 per accident. Excess Liability or Umbrella coverage may be used to supplement minimum requirements.
All insurance policies must name Broward County as an additional insured with primary coverage at no cost to the County, include a waiver of subrogation in favor of the County, and provide 30 days' written notice of cancellation (10 days for non-payment). Claims-Made policies require continuous coverage and evidence of insurance for a minimum of three years after contract completion. Professional Liability and Crime/Employee Dishonesty coverage are listed as "N/A," indicating these are not required for this temporary kitchen personnel service contract. The Certificate Holder is Broward County's Risk Management Division located at 115 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301.
