About this file

This is a minimum insurance requirements document issued by Broward County Parks and Recreation Division for a fixed contract to supply and deliver 70/30 Command Topdressing Sand Mix to Central Broward Park and Broward County Stadium in Florida. The contract requires vendors to supply, ship, and deliver the topdressing sand mix with all costs included in the unit price. The solicitation is conducted through BPRO, the County's electronic procurement system, and vendors must submit responses electronically by the specified closing date and time to receive a submission receipt. The County provides a designated period for vendors to submit questions and seek clarification through BPRO's Messages section, with responses provided by the County during this timeframe.

The insurance requirements specify that no proof of insurance is required if delivery is performed by common carrier. If insurance is required, vendors must maintain General Liability coverage with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability coverage with $1,000,000 combined limits if driving is performed, and Workers' Compensation coverage at statutory limits. Additional requirements include Excess Liability/Umbrella coverage, Employers Liability coverage of $500,000 per accident, and Pollution/Environmental Liability coverage with a maximum deductible of $10,000. Broward County must be named as an additional insured with primary coverage, a waiver of subrogation, and 30 days' written notice of cancellation required. For Claims-Made policies, evidence of insurance must be maintained for at least three years after contract completion.
