About this file

This is a minimum insurance requirements document for Broward County Parks and Recreation Division related to a one-time purchase and delivery of a pool pump. The project involves the purchase and delivery of one aquatic activity pump, with shipping and delivery included in the unit price. Vendors must submit solicitation responses electronically through Bonfire BPRO by the specified closing date and receive a submission receipt; the County will not accept responses through other means. All questions and clarification inquiries must be submitted through Bonfire BPRO by the designated questions due date, with responses provided in the Messages section of the platform.

The insurance requirements specify that no proof of insurance is required if delivery will be by common carrier. For other delivery methods, vendors must maintain general liability insurance with minimum limits of $500,000 each occurrence and aggregate, auto liability with $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage limits, and workers' compensation at statutory limits. Additional requirements include naming Broward County as an additional insured, providing primary coverage with no contribution from the County, implementing waiver of subrogation in favor of the County, and providing 30 days' written notice of cancellation or 10 days' notice for non-payment. For claims-made policies, insurance must be maintained and evidence of coverage must be provided for at least three years after contract completion.
