About this file
This is a Bonds, Subcontractor, and Payments Terms and Conditions document issued by Snow College in Utah for the procurement of quartz countertop fabrication, delivery, and installation services for the Snow College Bistro. The project scope includes fabrication, delivery, and installation of new quartz countertops in tan or light brown, including a curved serving counter and labeled sections A through F, with all required edge treatments, cutouts for sinks and equipment, and seams and joints meeting industry standards. The contractor is responsible for verifying all field measurements, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and safety standards, and maintaining a clean work area with debris removal upon completion. Snow College will complete demolition of the existing space and installation of new cabinetry prior to countertop installation. Specific response dates, site visit requirements, and award dates are not detailed in this document.
Pricing for the project must include all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for completion and must incorporate the cost of any required performance and/or payment bonds. Any supplier proposing subcontracts must explicitly identify proposed subcontractors by name and address and obtain prior written approval from Snow College Purchasing Department before awarding subcontracts; subcontractors will require bonds, with bond costs the responsibility of the awarded supplier. Suppliers are responsible for all subcontractor payments and remain fully liable for contract obligations regardless of subcontract assignment. Insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability coverage with minimum per occurrence limits of $1,000,000 and general aggregate limits of $2,000,000, Business Automobile Liability insurance if applicable, and Professional Liability insurance with minimum limits of $2,000,000 per occurrence, with Snow College named as an additional insured. Certificates of insurance must be submitted prior to contract commencement with thirty days' written notice required before any policy cancellation or material change. Payment will be made upon project manager satisfaction and total project completion. All disputes are governed by Utah law and venue is within a Utah court of competent jurisdiction selected by Snow College.

The Supplier’s insurance carriers and policy provisions must be acceptable to the College’s Risk and Insurance Manager and remain in effect for the duration of the Contract/Project. Snow College shall be named as an additional insured on the Commercial General Liability insurance policy.
