About this file

This document is a questions and answers file for potential vendors responding to a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and the Department of Agriculture and Food for a Track Veterinarian position. The procurement seeks qualified professional service providers to fill this specialized role under Utah Administrative Rule R33-105 for small purchases of professional service providers and consultants. Interested vendors must submit statements of qualifications demonstrating their expertise and experience relevant to track veterinary services. The document provides guidance to prospective respondents by addressing common inquiries about the procurement process, submission requirements, and qualification criteria. No specific response date, due date, site visit schedule, or bidder's conference details are outlined in this questions document; these details would typically appear in the primary RFSQ solicitation materials.

Responses to this RFSQ must not include pricing information, as this is a qualifications-based procurement designed to identify capable service providers rather than to solicit competitive bids. The contract will be awarded to qualified providers under the administrative rule framework, with contract funding never exceeding the limits specified in Utah Administrative Rule R33-105-104. The document does not specify contract term length, renewal options, or the incumbent provider status. As a small purchase professional services procurement, this engagement is structured to efficiently identify and contract with qualified veterinary professionals while maintaining compliance with Utah's purchasing regulations and fiscal limitations.
