About this file
This is a Scope of Work document prepared by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing on behalf of the Department of Agriculture and Food for a Track Veterinarian professional services contract. The procurement seeks statements of qualifications from qualified vendors to provide veterinary services under Administrative Rule R33-105 for small purchases of professional service providers and consultants. The contract will be awarded based on qualifications submissions, and vendors must not include pricing information in their responses. The scope of work establishes the specific duties, responsibilities, and performance standards required of the selected Track Veterinarian, detailing the nature of veterinary services to be provided in connection with the state's agricultural operations and programs.
The contract will be structured under Utah's small purchase regulations, with authorized funding not to exceed the limits specified in Rule R33-105-104 at any point during the contract term. This procurement mechanism allows the state to engage professional service providers on a defined scope basis without traditional competitive bidding requirements. Applicants should focus their submissions on demonstrating relevant qualifications, experience, and capability to perform the specified veterinary duties rather than proposing cost structures.
