Appendix:
Clarifying & Providing Specific Calculation Formula for Shortage/Excess Charges
1. Yearly Minimum Order amount and yearly Load Factor shall be calculated based on the combined total usage of all 5 supply points; not by each supply point.
a. Minimum Order:
When the “actual total yearly usage amount” of 5 supply points does not reach the “total yearly Minimum Order amount”, a settlement amount for shortage of Minimum Order will be charged. This means that in case the “actual yearly usage amount” for a supply point does not reach the “yearly minimum order amount” for the corresponding supply point, a settlement amount for shortage of Minimum Order will not be charged unless the “actual total yearly usage amount” is less than the “total yearly Minimum Order amount”.
When the “actual total yearly usage amount” of 5 supply points does not reach the “total yearly Minimum Order Amount”, a settlement amount for the shortage of the Minimum Order shall be calculated by using the total charges of each supply point.
1) Specify the supply point(s) which didn’t meet the minimum order amount.
2) Calculate the shortage charge at each point: (Yearly Minimum Order of the supply point less the Actual yearly usage of the supply point) multiplied by the Average actual adjusted unit price of the year of the supply point
3) Add all the charges of the supply points.
b. Yearly Load Factor:
When the combined “actual yearly total Load Factor” of all 5 supply points is less than 65% of the “total yearly Load Factor”, a settlement amount for shortage of the yearly load factor will be charged. This means that in case the “actual load factor” for a supply point does not reach the corresponding “yearly Load Factor” for the supply point, a settlement amount for shortage of the Load Factor will not be charged unless the “actual total Load Factor” is less than 65% of the “total yearly Load Factor”.
A settlement amount for the shortage of the load factor shall be calculated by using the total charges of each supply point.
1) Specify the supply point(s) which didn’t meet the minimum order amount.
2) Calculate the shortage charge at each point.
3) Add all charges of the supply points.
2. Hourly Max Flow Volume Hourly max flow volume shall be calculated by a flow meter at each point, not the total flow volume of 5 supply points.
