About this file
This is a bid specification document issued by Snow College in Utah for the procurement of arena and corral livestock equipment and materials. The scope of work encompasses the design and construction of a 195' x 122' portable arena with accompanying livestock handling infrastructure. Bidders may submit proposals for the entire project, the arena area only, or the outside corral portion with either permanent or portable construction options. Required deliverables include 31 eight-foot gates, 11 twelve-foot gates, 7 six-foot gates, 2 stripping chutes, 3 twelve-by-sixteen-foot rope boxes, 1 calf roping chute, 1 team roping chute, 1 portable loading ramp for livestock, lead-up alleys for both roping boxes, and 20 additional twelve-foot portable panels with 2 twelve-foot walk-through panels. Arena panels must be constructed from a minimum of 16-gauge steel with 2-inch minimum pipe size, featuring at least 6 rails and standing 6 feet tall, with specific panels in return alleys and against building walls permitted at 5 feet tall with 1.6-inch tubing. All materials must be painted or powder-coated in black, blue, or gray, or fully galvanized. Delivery is required before July 12, 2026.
The procurement will result in a purchase order awarded to the responsive and responsible vendor submitting the lowest priced bid. No additional charges will be permitted after bid award, and Snow College will accept only a single primary bid from each vendor, rejecting any multiple or alternate quotes submitted. The evaluation process will follow the Utah Procurement Code requirements for responsiveness and specification compliance. Snow College Purchasing reserves the right to solicit additional quotes through email, phone, or other methods permitted by the Utah Procurement Code or applicable administrative rules.
