About this file
This is an appendix to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the University of Texas at Austin for a Technology System Integrator contract. The document establishes accessibility requirements and warranties that the contractor must meet regarding electronic and information resources (EIRs) provided under the agreement. The contractor must ensure all EIRs comply with applicable Texas accessibility standards, specifically 1 TAC Chapter 213 and 1 TAC 206.70 as referenced in Texas Government Code Section 2054, Subchapter M. The contractor is required to provide full cooperation and assistance for accessibility testing, planning, and documentation as conducted by the University or its designated third-party testing resources.
Should the contractor discover that any portion of the EIRs fails to comply with the accessibility warranty, the contractor must remediate all deficiencies at no cost to the University or replace the non-compliant resources with accessible alternatives that satisfy the warranty requirements. Failure to remediate or replace non-compliant resources within the specified timeframe provides grounds for the University to terminate the agreement, and the contractor must refund all amounts paid by the University within thirty days of termination. This appendix underscores the University's commitment to ensuring that all technology systems and information resources provided under this contract are accessible to individuals with disabilities in compliance with applicable Texas regulations.
