About this file

This is Addendum 1 to the Benefits Consultant solicitation issued by the Rockwood School District in Missouri. The addendum modifies the original request for proposals for benefit consulting services designed to assist the district in evaluating employee benefit plan options and managing ongoing plan administration. The addendum clarifies submittal requirements, evaluation criteria, and contract terms for prospective bidders responding to the initial solicitation. Specific modifications address proposal format specifications, required documentation, and insurance requirements that bidders must meet to be considered for award. The addendum maintains the original scope of work while ensuring all bidders operate under consistent and updated parameters.

The addendum establishes mandatory insurance coverage requirements for selected consultants, including general liability and professional liability insurance with specified minimum coverage amounts. It reinforces the deadline for proposal submission and clarifies the evaluation process that will be used to select the winning bidder. The document specifies that the selected consultant will be responsible for comprehensive benefits consulting services throughout the contract term, with details on performance expectations and deliverables. All bidders must acknowledge receipt and acceptance of this addendum with their proposals, and failure to do so may result in proposal rejection. The addendum ensures transparency and establishes uniform requirements for all parties participating in the competitive bidding process.

Please provide a summary of the District's current pharmacy program, including formulary approach, specialty drug management strategy, rebate arrangements

The District’s pharmacy program will be administered by Anthem using the National Direct Plus 4-Tier formulary. Specialty medications will be managed and dispensed through BioPlus, Anthem’s specialty pharmacy provider.

Pharmacy rebates will be applied directly toward Anthem’s monthly per-member-per-month (PMPM) fixed administrative costs. Based on the District’s assumed enrollment, the resulting composite administrative cost is projected to be $0 for each of the next three years.
