About this file
This is an evaluation criteria document for Boulder County Procurement related to a pest control services solicitation for the Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) in Colorado. The evaluation criteria establish the framework by which a selection committee will assess vendor proposals for comprehensive pest control services across all residential and administrative properties managed by BCHA. The selection committee may request additional information from vendors or conduct interviews with one or more vendors prior to making final selection decisions. The evaluation process will focus on an integrated pest management approach emphasizing prevention, control, and education to maintain clean, healthy, and pest-free environments for residents, staff, and visitors.
The scoring matrix allocates 100 total possible points across three evaluation criteria: Effectiveness of Treatments/Experience (45 points), Safety and Environmental Impact (35 points), and Response Time and Service Frequency (20 points). These weighted criteria indicate that technical capability and experience with pest management treatments carry the highest priority, followed by environmental and safety considerations, with service delivery logistics weighted least heavily. Interested parties with questions regarding the Boulder County procurement process are directed to contact procurement@bouldercounty.gov.
