About this file

Solicitation Summary

This is a solicitation document issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing through the Department of Criminal Justice for the procurement of legal services for youth referred to juvenile court. The RFP anticipates multiple contract awards, with the methodology for determining the number of awards specified in the scope of work. The contract term is three years, and vendors must guarantee their pricing for the entire contract period. The document establishes the framework for interested legal service providers to submit proposals for defending juveniles in regional conflict situations within Utah's juvenile justice system.

The solicitation requires vendors to provide comprehensive legal defense services for court-referred youth, with pricing guarantees maintained throughout the full contract duration. As a multi-award procurement, successful vendors will be selected based on criteria outlined in the scope of work, which determines both the number of contract awards and the allocation methodology among awardees. The Department of Criminal Justice will oversee contract administration and vendor performance for the three-year initial term.
