About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment 001) to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Pipe Bending Machine (RFQ #47QSWC25Q0190). The amendment includes a set of General Questions and Answers that provide critical details about the procurement. The machine specifications include a manual mandrel-type rotary-draw bending machine for processing materials such as 5052 and 6061 aluminum, 304/321 stainless steel, Inconel 625/718, and titanium alloys. Key requirements specify a stationary, floor-mounted machine capable of bending tubes up to 1.5-inch outer diameter with 0.065-inch wall thickness and 1-inch IPS Schedule 40 pipes.

Additional procurement details include FOB destination delivery, inspection at origin, and offloading by the base receiving dock. The RFQ allows for any brand that meets technical requirements, and tentatively requires an IUID (Unique Item Identification) tag. The solicitation is issued by GSA/FAS Federal Acquisition Service, General Supply & Services (GSS), Assisted Contracting Branch B, located in Fort Worth, TX, with a solicitation dated September 30, 2025. Potential vendors must carefully review the questions and answers, which clarify various technical and logistical aspects of the procurement.
