About this file

This document is an Amendment (002) to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Heat Treat Furnaces issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Material Command (AFLCMC). The solicitation (RFQ 47QSWC25Q0108) is a firm-fixed price supply contract for heat treat furnaces to enable controlled heating and cooling processes for metal properties alteration. The acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 for commercial products and services, with a full and open competition approach.

Key amendment details include: no further questions will be accepted for the RFQ, the contractor is responsible for Continental United States (CONUS) shipment and delivery, and AFLCMC will manage Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) shipments. The amendment also inserted specific shipping-related Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses regarding F.O.B. (Free On Board) destinations, origins, and inland carrier points of exportation. The solicitation is being processed through the GSA Federal Acquisition Service and requires heat treat furnaces that meet the minimum technical specifications outlined in the original RFQ.
