Question and Answers-Final

1. Is it possible the client can work with all Night Black motorcycles - color code 716, instead of the requested all Alpine White motorcycles - color code 751?

The BMW R1250RT-P motorcycles must be white.

2. Will the client be purchasing new half-helmets or using existing helmets for the SETCOM helmet kits to be installed in and would these be delivered to the awarded vendor, or will the client be installing these in-house?

The Government will be using existing helmets and will be installing the helmet kits in-house once received by the vendor.

3. Before the bid closes, will the client inform potential bidders if additional decals are required on the radio box which replaces the rear seat? And when the contract is awarded will the client furnish an accurate rendition of where decals are desired on the BMW motorcycles, shown on a BMW R1250RT-P illustration, to address the fact that a Harley-Davidson civilian motorcycle (provided example) looks nothing like a BMW Authority/Police/Parade motorcycle?

Post award, a Government POC will visit the vendor’s location to measure the radio box, gas tank, and front fairing to collaborate with the vendor regarding the decal design and best placement.

4. Can a contractor quote less than the required quantity? If not, can this be subcontracted out?

The client requires the full quantity. GSA only has privity with the main contractor that will receive the award. If a contractor decides to subcontract out the requirement GSA needs to be made aware of the subcontractor due to But American Act limitations.
